NRA-Certified CPL Classes in Romulus, MI
Offered by Rhonda's Guns & Ammo, along with Orbit Firearms Training LLC
Completing our CPL classes will provide you with everything you need to apply for a Michigan Concealed Pistol License – the license required to carry a concealed firearm on your person outside of your home. This class is not designed for beginners, and it is recommended that if you are new to shooting, you first seek out a beginner’s class.
What’s the Difference Between a CPL and a CCW?
There is no difference. CCW (Carry a Concealed Weapon) is simply another common term for CPL (Concealed Pistol License). They are not two separate licenses, and both terms refer to the same thing.
What You Can Expect to Learn?
Our certified NRA instructor will teach you about general firearms safety in home and in public, handgun components, cleaning and storage guidelines, and range safety, as well as advanced shooting and personal firearms protection techniques. You will also learn about Michigan law and how it relates to your CPL, such as places where you can legally take your firearm and what are considered justifiable reasons to use force and discharge your firearm.
CPL classes are held once a month at the Wayne County Sportsman Club in Romulus. The cost for the class is $110.00 and includes range time and the NRA "Personal Protection in the Home" course study packet. A $25.00 deposit is required to reserve a seat in the class and must be paid at Rhonda's. Classes start at 9 AM and run until approximately 6 PM.
Class dates will be posted here as they are scheduled.
